July is finally here and so is the heat. In my neck of the woods we had triple digit temperature over the weekend. I decided not to weigh in last Saturday (June 23rd) as I had been feeling a little blue. I did not want a bad reading to effect short term nor long term goals. Sometimes it is okay to take a day off from exercising (especially when my knees tell me too). I have sense had a chance to begin the regrouping process (just emotionally and mentally). The task at hand still seems daunting (to loose between 60 to 80 additional pounds) but I have also some success (I have lost exactly 40 pounds) under my belt that should comfort me in this great endeavor.
